Reports: Nicaragua August 2006

Report: August 2006 -- Mission trip to Boaco, Nicaragua, Central America

From August 18 through 21, 2006 – a three-member volunteer medical team from our Medical Corporation along with the president and head of the Medical Corporation, Rev. Lidia Rodríguez traveled to Boaco.

During the trip, we visited Hospital General - José Nieborowski en Boaco. A 12-lead electrocardiogram machine was donated to the hospital’s medical staff. They were overjoyed as the hospital’s 12-lead electrocardiogram had been out of service for over 11 months. In addition, a surgical unit and wound care donations were given to the medical staff. The hospital offers medical attention to the community which is priceless. The efforts of the medical and paramedic staff at this hospital are genuinely heroic considering the lack of a fundamental infrastructure. Our Medical Corporation has agreed to aid the hospital.

Reports: Argentina April 2006

Report: April 2006 -- Mission trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America

From April 11 through 15, 2006 – two, volunteer physicians from our Medical Corporation traveled to Argentina. The medical doctors visited the following homes for children (or orphanages) in Buenos Aires: Hogar de Niños Betania and Hogar Enmanuel. These homes provide a refuge for children who are abandoned by their parents as well as a place where their physical and spiritual needs are met. Physically – each child receives shelter, clothing, daily meals as well as education. Spiritually – a loving home environment is given; thus showing Christ’s unfailing love.
